Off the needles and ready to be wrapped.

It's off the needles today!  I got all the socks done for Christmas gifts.  The picture has the last pair completed on the left (watermelon colored ones) and the rest are other gifts.  That is except the one on the right, they are for me!  I still can't believe that I got these done.  The wool yarns are so nice and soft to work with, hope they all enjoy wearing them.

I also got a hat done and learned how to do cables too!  It's made with Malabrigo chunky merino and is sooo soft and was really quick to knit.  I think I'll try another project with cables in it, maybe the Zora sock pattern.  The hat pattern is the Squall Hat.

I still have the peach scarf I am working on, looks the same as last week only a little wider.  I just have an inch or two to go.

  1. Wow, that is a whole lot of knitty goodness! I love all your socks. I was always afraid of cables until I tried them, and then I was pleasantly surprised that they were not as hard as I was thinking they were! Cheers! Evelyn
